When could the next update be will it even be chapter 2? what do you think?
I got Rank 50 and got rewarded the Diablo. It's a pretty fast car with only the boosted engine. The underglow can be seen on the back of the Diablo. But I didn't use one cause it shine brightly on your screen while driving. Also it looks cooler without one.
I think this or next week
Cost-Finding all six fragments and turn it in.
Pros-Reward not limited to first few players
-Easier to complete (compare to ??? badge event)
-Fragments are localized to the expansion (easier to find as there are no much building and neon light that distract you from locating and seeing the fragments explosion)
-You can server-hop to find luck/turn in fragments privately
-Vehicle is somewhat decent
Cons/Meh-Fragments spawn way slower than the statement that the developers gave)
-Fragments often glitch when you try to collect them
The vehicle has minimum and somewhat horrible acceleration. However, the vehicle is decent in average travelling speed, handling and braking. It has top-notch maneuvers on flat ground but it is a little sensitive to edge. The vehicle has average top speed and it gets glitchy and bumpy when your weapons is taken out during the drive. The vehicle is good for beyond city travelling but the performance get bumpy when in off-road/hilly/turn-y travelling. It is undoubtly the sick-looking car... and the nitro, rims is unique and cool.
AVERAGE SPEED-9/10 E
TOP SPEED-6.5/10 A
DRIVING EXPERIENCE-9.5/10 E
CUZTOMIZATION ABILITY RATE-9/10 E
AWARD AVAILBILITY-8/10 G
NEW SKIN-9/10 E
Recently, Schwifty Studios posted a Tweet communicating their plans for Mad City. If you want to read it for yourself, click here. I made this discussion post to bring attention to it and to help summarize for the sake of coherence.
They realize how lackluster the updates have been recently and they're unhappy with the quality of them. This is partly explained by the fact that they're transitioning between programmers, but moreso by their true intentions; they are rewriting the entirety of Mad City's code.
Currently, with the way the game is structured, updates are taking longer and longer to create. Changing the core mechanics will only dig this hole deeper. This is also why some bugs have been lingering - there's hardly a point in fixing them if they're already rewriting the game. The end result of this will be:
Much more frequent updates
The revamping of old and overused mechanics
Beyond this, they plan to be much more transparent with updates and to create an organized schedule for themselves to maintain a healthy workflow - this will also help them to provide realistic release dates. Game updates will continue, although they won't be at all code-intensive as their programmers are occupied with the rewrite. They specifically listed map changes, vehicle revamps, and visual updates.
Also, to clarify, you won't lose any progress during the rewrite.
