Atlantis was a location that was introduced in the Season 4 / August 24th, 2019 update.
Overview
Atlantis was located behind the Volcano, and mostly served only as a massive decorational part of the map. Large bubbles surrounded each segment of Atlantis, seemingly protecting it.
Area History
Giant Whirlpool
Upon the release of the November 30th, 2019 update however, a giant whirlpool appeared out of nowhere and had entirely destroyed and consumed all of Atlantis. The whirlpool dealt damage to any players that decided to get too close to it.
Star Lord Boss Fight
Atlantis was later re-introduced on December 15th, 2019 and became the arena for the Star Lord battle. Players would need five Star Crystals to make offerings to the altar to start the battle. It was removed entirely in the February 1st, 2020 update along with Star Lord.
Trivia
- On the December 17th, 2019 update, the "bloxy" Neptune statue was removed in Atlantis, and the offering pipe was moved to the center.
- Some of the remains of Atlantis, such as the "bloxy" Neptune and pillars of the castle are floating in Defaultos' parallel world, along with the remains of Chapter 1 during the Chapter 2 Live Event.
