Chapter 1

The Mad City Chapter 1 Logo

Chapter 1 was the first Mad City chapter which was released on January 27th, 2019. Chapter 1 ended on July 23rd 2022 and was replaced by Chapter 2. Chapter 1 held 7 seasons in its timeline.

Seasons

Seasons are periods of time that categorize updates and themes. Seasons feature limited time rewards for ranking up, which are unlocked every 5 levels. You can receive gun skins, vehicle skins, vehicles, cash, and much more from Seasons. Rank does not carry over to a new season, but Cash and unlocked items do.

Season 1

Season 1 was the first season on Mad City. Being the first season, it did not include any major updates.

Season 2

Season 2 featured an alien invasion, where Cluckles, the first boss in the game, would spawn in the middle of the city. Players were rewarded the Banshee if they defeated the boss.

Season 3

Season 3 was primitive-theme, in which Kua Kua, the tiki god became the second boss in the game. Players were rewarded the Heatseeker if they defeated the boss.

Season 4

Season 4 introduced 2 major locations, the Military Base and Atlantis. Cluck Daddy was the third boss to be introduced. If players defeated Cluck Daddy, they were rewarded with the Invader. This season also introduced several Vehicle Packs.

Season 5

Season 5 was winter themed. Atlantis would later be destroyed and become the arena for Star Lord, the fourth boss. If players defeated Star Lord, they were rewarded the Invisible Boat Mobile.  The Star Lord boss fight would still continue this season until 2/1/2020. Level capping to 100 were later removed in this season. Season 5 and onwards allowed players to unlock exclusive animated skins at certain ranks above 100.

Season 6

Season 6 introduced the first Live Event, where Cluckles celebrated their birthday, which later destroyed Mad City with the help of Kua Kua and Star Lord. It was Easter-themed, where it introduced Easter Isle and Mech Cluckles, the fifth boss. Players who defeated Mech Cluckles were rewarded with the Giotto.

Season 7

Season 7 was the last season in Chapter 1 and went on for over 1 year . This is because of the announcement of Chapter 2 update. Season 7 included the Halloween event in October 2020 and the Reindeer Boss in December 2020. There had no major updates since the Christmas event. This was the first boss to give 2 vehicle rewards if completed twice. Players who defeated the reindeer boss were rewarded with either the Shredder or the Sleigher. The second live event would be introduced at the end.

• Schwifty Studios began work on Mad City on December 3rd, 2017. The game was announced on June 27th, 2018. [1]

Trivia

• Chapter 1 is currently the longest chapter at 3 years.
• Chapter 1 is being replaced by Chapter 2, which was released on July 23rd, 2022.
• Chapter 1 had way less optimization/features than Chapter 2.
