Resort

The Resort (formerly the Casino), is one of the eight primary heists, located near Paradise Pier. It gives a maximum of 10,000 (maximum of 20,000 with the VIP game pass. It rewards 620 (or 1,240 with Double XP) upon completion.

Robbery[]

Entering the Heist[]

To enter the Resort, a Criminal must enter through the spinning door at the front of the resort.

Entering the Security Room[]

After entering, the player must pass through the gambling room and enter one of the two pairs of the doors to start robbing the Resort. Here, the player must hack a computer to open a back door, which leads to a room with two computers that both need to be hacked in a certain amount of time to open a room full of lasers.

The Storage Room[]

After doing so, the player then must avoid many lasers and spotlights to reach the next section, which is a room with one corridor, in which there are four doors, one of which will have a green flashing light on top of it, behind which there is a secret room where you can obtain the Boss Keycard by playing a minigame, "Jetpack Jumper".

The Vault Room[]

Players have to pull a lever to enter a purple corridor where the vault is located at the end. The player has drill open the vault twice for the door to open.

Completing the Heist[]

The vault can only be opened by drilling it. After entering, the player can rappel down in a room with nine diamonds. After grabbing two diamonds, the player must go in an elevator and then escape by running out a door. The player can also enter the Arcade and go through the spinning door.

In the Resort, there were many slot machines that players can use. Prizes from the slot machines vary based on the symbol that said player got 4 of. Watermelons gave 15,000,Bars gave 45,000, 7’s gave 77,777, and Diamonds gave 100,000. After a player got the cash prize, they would have to wait six hours to use the slot machines again. This feature was later removed on May 4th, 2023.

Trivia[]

The Nero and the Thunderbird were formerly located outside of the Resort but were relocated to the Car Dealership and Testing Lab respectively. However, Thunderbird was relocated back to the Resort in the Chapter 2 update.
The location's revamp was leaked by FamedChris.^[1] This update was planned to be released on November 23rd, 2019, but it was delayed due to Taymaster's family emergency.^[2]
- The revamped Casino update was released on November 30th, 2019, along with the Bank.
- The revamped Casino is likely based on the Golden Grin Casino from PAYDAY 2.
In the first revamp, for a short time, the Casino (now known as Resort) featured four slot machines that, when hacked, would grant the player 1,000.
Multiple lasers were removed from the interior of the Casino on the February 10th, 2020 update, as well as on the May 9th, 2020 update.
For a brief period after the heist revamp update, cash was given in increments of 200.
The Prize Wheel used to be inside the Resort. Now the Prize Wheel is located in the middle of the City Park.
There are also slot machines which you can spin infinite times until you get a reward, which in that case, you will have to wait 6 hours.
If you get a rim, spoiler or the Pipeline from the Prize Wheel but you already have it, you will get a 4,000 compensation. For the Pipeline, it’s a 350,000 compensation.
There are 2 inaccessible visible areas of the Resort
- The hallways, which are visible on the right side of the building via the windows.
- The top floor, which is similar to the top floor escape from the original casino.
In the first revamp you were able to hack the slot machines behind the wall even if the Casino was closed.
In The Mad City Chapter 2 Trailer, the control room of the Resort looks much different, and guards can be seen looking at the monitors. Players must crouch to avoid being detected by the guards; however, this was not seen in the game.
