The Hero Base is the spawn point for Heroes that is located west of the Uptown.
Overview[]
The Hero Base is a floating base, requiring an aerial vehicle, or a flying power. In the spawn point of the base, there are seven heroes. These heroes are Vanta, Inferno (Hero), Titan, Hot Rod, Voltron, Proton, and Frostbite. The Archer was here previously, but was removed in the Chapter 2 update. Below the Hero Base's main area, there is both a helicopter spawn pad, and a small airport for spawning airplanes. This is one of the only four airports in the map. Keep in mind that Police can also enter the Hero Base.
Trivia[]
- The Hero Base used to be located inside the Volcano, but this was changed in Season 4.
- Furthermore, this specific Hero Base was changed into a Villain Lair upon the release of Season 4.
- On May 4th, 2023, the base was moved from the east of the Jewelry Store to the west of the Uptown.
- The original Hero Base had an armory, as opposed to the current Hero Base which has none.
- If a player that is not a police or hero enters the Hero Base, they will be warned that they are in a restricted area, before taking heavy damage until they die.
- Prior to August 24th, 2019, anyone could enter the Hero Base.
- The Chapter 1 Hero Base is most likely based on the Avengers Tower, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- In Chapter 2, the Hero Base was revamped and now more closely resembles the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier from the Marvel franchise.
