The Nighthawk is a weaponized single-seater aerial vehicle added in the June 29th, 2019 update.

Overview[]

The Nighthawk can be found at the Airport in a hangar adjacent to the Spitfire for CashCH26,000,000, making it the third most expensive Cash purchase along with Incinerator in the game. This vehicle is based off the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk stealth bomber, the first operational aircraft with stealth capabilities.

Performance[]

It is the third-fastest aerial vehicle with the Warhawk behind the Cyber Plane.

Combat[]

Missiles[]

The Nighthawk has the ability to fire missiles by pressing either "F" or LMB. The Nighthawk's missiles deal 40 damage to enemy players caught in its blast radius. It Deals 50 damage to vehicles.

Firing[]

At all times, a crosshair is visible on the pilot's screen. The target is white and centered. When a missile is fired in this state, it will shoot straight in the direction of the crosshair. The crosshair cannot be moved, and the only way to aim through this method is by steering the Nighthawk.

Locking[]

When an enemy player is onscreen, the crosshair will lock on automatically by moving over the target and audibly beeping. Once locked onto a target, the crosshair will cycle through four stages of locking on. The final stage is the only stage that features the lock-on ability for the missiles. The final stage of the lock-on ability features a reticle with 4 lines spaced apart perpendicularly. If the final stage was not achieved after firing a missile, the missile will fly straight in the direction in which the Nighthawk was facing. The missiles take a total of three seconds to fully lock onto a target and, once fired, have a cooldown of six seconds.

Bombs[]

When the "C" key is pressed, the Nighthawk drops one bomb that deal 80 damage each to players caught in its blast radius. A way to determine the destination in which the bomb would go after usage is with the use of a bright red indicator in front of the vehicle. This ability has a 10-15 second cooldown.

Cloak[]

When the R key is pressed, the Nighthawk enters a temporary invisibility state that lasts for fifteen seconds. This cloaking ability also contains a fifteen second cooldown period after use. During these fifteen seconds, you are completely invisible, even when the power is disabled. Firing missiles, dropping bombs, or leaving the vehicle will all cause the cloaked state to end prematurely. In Chapter 1, you were unable to lock on to enemy players using missiles while in this state. In the Chapter 2 update, this has been altered and the missiles will lock on to enemy players regardless if the cloaking ability was enabled or not.
