The Silver Key was an item that was added in the September 15th, 2019 update.
Overview[]
The Silver Key could've been retrieved inside the Cargo Plane and was used to unlock a crate at the Military Base, in order to obtain the Lazerblade.
Obtaining[]
To obtain the key, a fuse needed to be inserted into both the second and fifth fuse slots inside the Cargo Plane, after which a shutter sound would have been heard and a compartment would open up. This compartment could be interacted with by holding down "E" in order to obtain the key. Only one player could obtain the key per heist.
In the February 25th, 2020 update, the Cargo Plane was revamped and the method of obtaining the Silver Key was removed entirely from the main game, but is now obtainable in the same way in the separate Chapter 1 game.
