The Stinger is a ranged explosive weapon added in the August 19th, 2022 Update. It features a unique locking ability, and does extra damage to Vehicles. The Stinger can be bought for use of one life at the Gun shop, Shotgun Sal's, Police base, and Criminal Base for 
15,000.
Overview[]
The warhead does 30 damage towards players; however, this isn't its intended use. This weapon is intended to be used in order to take out and destroy enemy vehicles, in which it does 90 damage to land vehicles, and 180 damage to aerial vehicles, affecting all targets in a small radius.
Locking[]
The Stinger has the ability to lock onto all types of vehicles. This makes the warhead slightly follow the vehicle, with a wide turning radius. It strangely, is able to detect vehicles through walls. Once the Stinger is in contact with a vehicle, the targeting icon turns green.
Trivia[]
- The Stinger deals the highest damage to vehicles out of all the non-command accessible weapons in Mad City.
- It is also the first player-held weapon that can lock on to enemies.
- It appears to be based on the FIM-92 Stinger.
- It is the 7th Explosive gun added to Mad City.
- This is one of the few weapons along side the SCAR, G36, Grenade Launcher, TEC-9, and the Pistol utilized by NPC's of the Mad City Police Department, notably SWAT officers.
