Teams are a form of player categorization, with each team yielding different perks. Teams are selected upon joining a server, and teams may be changed in-game by clicking "Teams" on their in-game Phone.
The five teams in Mad City are listed below:
Team Icon | Team Name | Objective | Team Color | Spawn Location |
---|---|---|---|---|
Prisoner | Escape from Prison. | Orange | Prison | |
Police | Prevent Prisoners from escaping Prison and apprehend Criminals and Villains. | Blue | Police Base | |
Criminal | Rob Heists while avoiding being arrested. | Red | Criminal Base | |
Hero | Assist Police in apprehending Criminals and Villains with superpowers. | Yellow | Hero Base | |
Villain | Assist Criminals with their robberies with superpowers. | Purple | Villain Lair |
Trivia
- The Criminal and Villain teams cannot be chosen at the team selection screen. To become a Criminal, a player has to escape Prison and to become a Villain, a player has to, as a Criminal, obtain a crystal dropped by a hero.
- There is a six-player limit for the hero team. Trying to join a full team without the VIP game pass will give a message that reads “This team is full.”
